Frightened Rabbit, "The Midnight Organ Fight" (2008, Fat Cat)

Evening all.

Quick note to highly recommend this record. Read my full review here. It's certainly a highligh of the year so far, holding its head up with all the greatness we've already had from M83, Cut Copy, Why?. Of course, it's all going to be rendered academic once Subtle waltz off with the Record of the Year prize, but until that happens it's nice to be kept busy.

(It had better be as good as I think it's going to be. And I'm slightly worried that isn't possible. Don't let me down, Dose!)

Speaking of let downs, I saw Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds last night. They were terrible. Drowned in Sound review it here, and were clearly at a different gig. Full review to follow once I've calmed down.
